Note: Relay is designed to support thoughtful, manual outreach — not automate or manipulate third-party platforms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Relay (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Relay Is (and Is Not)

Relay is a personal productivity tool that helps users:

  • track outreach and job applications,
  • organize follow-ups and tasks,
  • analyze email notifications and content from connected accounts,
  • receive suggestions via an AI assistant.

Relay explicitly does NOT:

  • automate LinkedIn actions,
  • scrape LinkedIn or other websites,
  • send messages without user confirmation,
  • impersonate users,
  • guarantee replies, interviews, or outcomes.

You remain fully responsible for all outreach and job application actions.

3. User Responsibilities

  • use Relay only for lawful purposes,
  • comply with LinkedIn, Google, Gmail, and other third-party terms,
  • ensure you have rights to connect any accounts you link,
  • review all messages before sending,
  • not use Relay for spam, harassment, or deceptive activity.

Relay is a support tool, not a replacement for your judgment.

4. Integrations (Gmail, LinkedIn, Others)

Relay may connect to third-party services (e.g., Gmail) with your permission.

  • Gmail access is read-only by default unless explicitly enabled by you.
  • You may disconnect integrations at any time.
  • Relay is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Google, or any third party.

We are not responsible for changes, limitations, or interruptions caused by third-party services.

5. AI Assistant & Templates

Relay includes an AI-powered assistant and message templates.

Important clarifications:

  • AI outputs are suggestions only.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content.
  • Templates are never auto-sent.
  • Relay does not guarantee accuracy, tone, or effectiveness of AI suggestions.

You assume full responsibility for any content you choose to send.

6. Early Access & Beta Features

Relay may be offered in early access or beta.

  • features may change, break, or be removed,
  • data may be reset during beta phases (we’ll try to warn you),
  • availability is not guaranteed.

We provide early access “as-is” to improve the product.

7. Data & Ownership

You retain ownership of your data.

By using Relay, you grant us a limited license to:

  • process your data to provide the Service,
  • analyze usage to improve features.

We will not sell your personal data. Details on data handling are in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability & Service Changes

We may:

  • modify or discontinue parts of the Service,
  • suspend access for maintenance or security reasons,
  • terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We’ll make reasonable efforts to provide notice where possible.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Relay is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free,
  • AI suggestions will be accurate or effective,
  • use of Relay will result in replies, interviews, or offers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Relay and its creators shall not be liable for:

  • lost opportunities,
  • lost data,
  • missed replies,
  • business or career outcomes,
  • indirect or consequential damages.

Your use of Relay is at your own risk.

11. Termination

You may stop using Relay at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • these Terms are violated,
  • required by law,
  • necessary to protect the Service or other users.
